Bob Seymour

Founder & President

For more than 40 years, Bob has served in Christian ministries as a layman. He is the founder of Bible Study Two and has maintained a strong commitment to his faith and community. He also served as a Trustee of Kings Academy and as a board member and chairman of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tri-Cities.

In 1969, Bob was drafted served two years in the U.S. Army. God used the experience to deepen his faith and accelerate his growth as a Christian. Upon returning to graduate school, he became actively involved in campus ministries and his local church.

In 1973 and moved to Kingsport, Tennessee, to begin his career at Eastman Chemical Company’s Research Labs. He enjoyed a distinguished 36-year career with Eastman, retiring in 2009 as Director of Technology for the Specialty Plastics business.

Cole Maupin

Associate Director

Cole joined Bible Study Two in 2024 and is passionate about reaching students across the region. His vision is to expand Bible Study Two’s local impact, equipping and discipling young men through collaborative engagement with local churches and schools.

Cole serves as Student Pastor for Ridgeview Baptist Church, is actively involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, varied mission associations, and the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce.

Cole holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from East Tennessee State University and earned his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
